ASCOM teleCARE IP – A NEW APPROACH TO NURSE CALL

Ascom teleCARE IP combines the full suite of traditional nurse call functionality and the power of IP technology. And because Ascom teleCARE IP operates on the IP level, it is more cost effective and more efficient for your hospital, elderly care home, or nursing home.

However only using IP is not enough, we made it secure and safe under all circumstances, so that we can live up to our motto, “a call will never be lost”. Our system is just doing that. Not only does it ensure a high level of reliability and safety, also fall back scenarios are standard in the system available. But we are doing more. We deliver the call to the responsible nurse or nurses and if she/he is busy the call is escalated to the next. Personal call and information is delivered to you while you are on the move, ensuring an assistive and effective way of working. Total freedom in functionality and cross department information, all is standard in Ascom teleCARE IP. Integration with mobile telephony on DECT, IP-DECT or WiFi is embedded in our approach, allowing direct voice contact with the patients/residents.  Again improving the efficiency, as decisions can be made on the spot and some questions can even be handled direct without having to go to the patient/resident.
