DURAsuite
DURAsuite is a range of messaging and alarm applications developed by Integrated Wireless in Australia. DURAsuite is a suite of applications written in Java and designed to run on an Ascom OJS module together with UPAC or in a Unite system. These applications are modular and can therefore run independently of one another or run simultaneously to suit customer complex business nature.
DURAsuite is an excellent complement to UPAC or Unite Professional Messaging. It offers easy-to-use applications for various needs. As it is based on Unite OJS module it has the same advantages as Unite application running on Elise2, reliable solid state hardware and based on Linux operating system.

 |  | DURAmanager is an embedded module within DURAsuite that enhances any DURAsuite solution. In fact DURAmanager is the glue that links all the DURAsuite modules - such as DURAlink, DURApage, DURAevent, DURApage and DURAdispatch – and guarantees that alarms, messages and tasks are simply and quickly sent to the relevant handheld devices or systems. |
 | In many situations organisations require automated reminder messages to be sent repeatedly to staff at regular intervals e.g. hourly, daily, weekly etc. The reminder messages are often to prompt staff to carry out supervisory actions or maintenance style checks that need to be performed at specific times. |

 | DURAlink allows the Ascom Messaging Solution to communicate with external devices or 3rd party systems via serial or IP communication protocols. DURAlink can connect with up to three serial devices and unlimited TCP/IP devices simultaneously and supports inbound, outbound and bidirectional communications depending upon the ability of the chosen protocol. |

 | DURApage is a web-based messaging tool that allows PC users to send messages to any handset, pager, mobile phone or connected device using a standard web browser. DURApage displays message delivery status and a history of previous messages. |

 | DURAevent DURAevent is required for all kind of event handling when an event shall result in an action, e.g when an incoming alarm from a handset shall result in notification of colleagues. When alarms are generated, DURAalarm will display information regarding the alarm including the location of the handset when triggered as well as location information if the handset passed any locator's.
